HAROLD "BUCK" WEAVER

Art Week in Ogden...Opening the exhibits planned during the season by the Ogden Palette club will be Sgt. T. Milton Wassmer, young soldier of Bushnell general hospital, whose paintings will be exhibited today between the hours of three and six at Utah power auditorium. Sgt. Wassmer is shown above at left of his oil, "Aspen Trees." At upper right, Buck Weaver, colorful cowboy artist, is shown above his modernistic painting, "Cloud Pattern." At center is Roman Andrus, whose study of J. N. Jensen is in circle below. Mr Andrus is portraiture artist at B.Y.U., Provo. At lower left, is sculptor Avard L. Fairbanks' "Tragedy of Winter Quarters," at Pioneer Memorial, Omaha, Neb. At lower right is a modernistic painting, "Going Home" a jungle picture showing heat and oppresive humidity in the slowness of the natives, by Montague Charman, English artist. The works of these four latter artists are scheduled to be shown in exhibits during the year by the Palette club.
